C.D. Numancia were informed today of the identification and arrest of the fan who threw an object, apparently a hammer or a drumstick, at a bus carrying Osasuna fans on February 17th. This action has led to administrative proceedings being taken against him as these deeds are punishable by law and a proposal of sanction by the Permanent Commission of the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport which consists of a €5,000 fine and a ban from all sports venues for a period of twelve months for this fan.

With this proposal now known, once C.D. Numancia can reliably verify the identity of this person, the club will determine its decision based on the Internal Regulations of the sporting facility, the regulatory base of the Club as provided in Law 19/2007 against violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance in sport.

CD Numancia were present at these pre-trial proceedings with the intention of participating in all the proceedings that were instructed regarding these incidents, which harm the image of the club and that of football in general, demonstrating an unequivocal sign of zero tolerance towards any act of violence in sport.
