Dr. María Ramos Bueno is the new head of the medical services at CD Numancia. A specialist in Sports Medicine and Physical Education, María Ramos has experience at several football clubs, both professional and amateur. She worked for Real Oviedo’s medical services during the 2015-16 season, in the Second Division, and for the University of Oviedo football club (in both Segunda B and Tercera) and was also the doctor for the Asturian Football Federation’s Footballers’ Friendly Society. At Racing de Santander, Dr. Ramos Rubio worked in the area of sports performance and nutritional control for the Cantabrian club’s first team in the 2007–08 season when they were in the top flight.
